Oakland University's School of Education & Human Services is pleased to announce the Mindfulness and Restorative Practice: A Two-Day Institute to be held at the Macomb University Center in Clinton Township, MI on Wednesday, November 13 and Thursday, November 14, 2019.
Mindfulness and Restorative Practice: A Two-Day Institute will focus on deepening mindfulness practice with an opportunity to either begin or increase mindful awareness, stress reduction, mindful communication, resilience, and compassionate dialogue. Also attendees will focus on deepening restorative practice principles with a chance to practice the growth producing lessons of building community and resolving problems. This institute is designed to integrate two practices that are directly applicable to school environments.
This institute is highly interactive with time for practicing Mindfulness and Restorative Practice principles, as well as specific time for reflective and goal setting. The Mindfulness and Restorative Practice: A Two- Day Institute was designed with individuals and teams from schools in mind.
