In this workshop, children will learn the basics of hand sewing using simple patterns to create a stuffed plush of their own. Participants will be able to attach multiple pieces of fabric using simple sewing techniques, thread a needle, and attach adornments, such as buttons.
Meadow Brook Hall will provide paper and a canvas banner. Participants will leave with their stuffed plush.
We encourage parents to stay and participate for an additional $5.
Ideal for ages 8+, or 5+ with an adult.
Note: Tickets will not be issued. Reservations will be held at the door. Please bring a copy of your email order confirmation.
Event Refunds: Because of Meadow Brook Hall's non-profit status and the intimacy of our events, we only offer full refunds if cancellations are received fifteen (15) days prior to the event, partial refunds of 50% if cancellations are received seven to fourteen (7-14) days prior to the event, and no refunds if cancellations are received less than seven (7) days prior to the event. NO EXCEPTIONS.
