The Applied Electromagnetic's and Wireless Lab (AEWL) possesses extensive antenna measurement capability that directly addresses the needs of the automotive industry. It has an Outdoor Automotive Antenna Range that is capable of measuring on-vehicle antenna radiation pattern measurements and an Indoor Antenna Anechoic Chamber that is capable of measuring ground-plane level antenna radiation pattern measurements. Both facilities cover the frequency range extending from 800 MHz up to 6000 MHz. Independent antenna testing services are conducted through the AEWL for private industry, government agencies and other academic institutions.

Standard Business Hours:Half-Day (4 hours): $1,200.00
Full-Day (8 hours): $2,000.00
Non-Standard Business Hours: (1 Hour): $400.00
(4 Hours): $1,600.00
Sirius XM Certification Testing: Per Antenna Model - $2,000.00 (GP)
Per Antenna Model - $2,400 (GP+Car)

Standard business hours of operation are Monday thru Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Any testing conducted outside of standard business hours will be classified as non-standard business hours, which occurs after 5:00pm on Monday thru Friday and anytime on Saturday.

Cancellations can be made at least 24 hours in advance of scheduled start date to avoid cancellation fees. Partial billing may be issued as related job tasks are performed. University may at its sole discretion imposed a cancellation fee of 25% of the cost of the scheduled rental time for any cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start-time of any test. The University may cancel a company’s scheduled test time for the following reasons which have the potential to occur: University personnel unavailability, power outage, equipment, failures, weather. University will reschedule testing as soon as possible.
