This mathematics course is for students from 7th grade to 12th grade who are proficient in mathematics and want to get a head start with Algebra employing a “problem-based classroom” teaching approach, the instructor will give the students a binder full of Algebra I practice problems, more advanced and deeper than those in the Readiness camps. Students will complete problems individually and in pairs. Then they will present them on the board to their peers and the instructors having to explain all of the steps in each problem. This camp is very student-centered and will be focused on running through as many problems as possible.
